After New Years Eve, we had a week or two in school, before the snow came and snowed BG in, and everyone else had to stay inside because it was too wet and slippery for us to play.
Hammy went home with AG and had a fun time, when Hammy came back BG decided to pick him up whilst MD was cleaning out his cage. When MD finished BG tried to put Hammy back in his cage but Hammy wanted BG to stroke him some more, so when she tried to let go of him he held on to her finger and refused to let go!
We have been busy making displays. We made one using our own photographs which we took with digital cameras and the edited with picture software. We also created an internet safety board in the ICT suite. It was LM and TS idea and has worked really well. All the teachers have commented on how good it looks, well done everyone.
We have also taken part in a road safety quiz where we were runners up!
Bridgend College came to visit last week and have given us a new vlog project to do which we are really excited about... maybe we'll post the finished project on here.
We have also been busy with the Eisteddfod, our class performed Bread Of Heaven- and we scared a few classes with all the practicing Miss Bale made us do outside, inside, everywhere!
We also wrote poetry, entered a handwriting competition and made our own lovespoons.
This half term we have been looking at poetry and we have written some wonderful personification poems which we will upload on the look what we can do page of our website soon.

Christmas Holidays are coming!
We finally got a hamster; we called him Hammy.
Every day we have to refill his water bottles and food. We also have to pick up
His poo piles (yuck). Every Friday we have to clean out his cage and put
Fresh saw dust and bedding in. We also have to clean his wheel because his poo
Sticks to it.
We have also got two fish to look after, they were given to us
because Miss Bales niece couldn’t keep them after they moved house so we’re
looking after them so she still gets to see them. AG gets to look after the hamster
for Christmas and ID might look after the fish.
The Year 5’s have just finished the Christmas play. There were two shows.
On the dress rehearsal in front of the infants BB lost her voice, she also lost it
For the first show. We did Wind and The Willows with 41 of us.
20 girls and 21 boys. They both went fine we all enjoyed it.
We did it for half a day every day it was very tiring! It was about 1: 45 mins long .
The year 6’s are looking forward to doing their play.
To celebrate Christmas we made sparkly cards, pom pom santa’s and got to play games! We love Christmas.
Class 8 wishes Mrs Farmer good luck as she is finishing school now ready to have her brand new baby girl.
We are looking forward to finishing the term, write to you when
We are back in school from
